Zoom apps launched: You can use 50+ apps while on a Zoom call

Zooming presented Zoom appsthat lets you use 50+ third-party apps while on a Zoom call. You can access apps like Asana, Dropbox areas, Pexels, and more right from the Zoom call interface. You’ll need to download the latest version of Zoom to install third-party apps from the new Apps tab.

If you’re using your office’s Zoom account, the IT admin can use admin settings to control how Zoom apps are used in your company. “Your administrator may require you to get pre-approved before adding certain Zoom apps.” Sack added.

How to access Zoom apps

  • Download the latest version of Zoom
  • Open Zoom and click in the desktop client or in the toolbar of your next one. on the Apps tab Zoom meeting. For some accounts, users may need administrators to enable the Zoom Apps icon in Account Settings so that it is visible in the desktop client and in the meeting toolbar.
  • Click Explore to see the list of available Zoom apps and add your favorites.

Zoom users can also use the Zoom App Marketplace, navigate to the Zoom Apps category and add the ones you want. Once the apps have been added, you can find the apps under the Apps icon on the My Apps tab in the interface of your Zoom meeting.
Apps available now include Asana, Dropbox Spaces, Point collector, Funtivity from Hermis, Heads Up !, Kahoot !, Live2Coursera, Pexels, SurveyMonkey Enterprise from Momentive, Wellness That Works from WW among others.
