The larger model has a 1.9-inch screen, compared to the 1.78-inch screen on its predecessor, and the new watches also have thinner bezels.
The Watch 7 is the first model in three years to have a larger display. Apple previously sold 38mm and 42mm watches as well.
Apple Watch Series 8 may have the flat-edge design
Apple has not announced a flat display or edges in its Watch Series 7. This design is expected to arrive Apple Watch series 8 in 2022.

The Apple Watch Series 8 could be available in a “rugged case” option aimed at athletes, hikers and others who use the watch in more extreme conditions and which could also have a temperature sensor.
The Apple Watch accounted for 65 percent of global smartwatch sales in 2020. More size options and an even bigger display will likely help the company maintain its position as the top smartwatch seller.
