Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 may come with a bigger external display

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 5G was a successful device for Samsung and for several reasons. The fact that it is foldable will obviously draw eyes, but what’s more, it packs key specifications along with being a lot more affordable than other folding devices. In fact, it was the lowest price ever for a foldable handset. Now that we are getting closer to a successor, we are hearing some potentially encouraging news regarding its external performance.

According to Ross Young, who has his finger on the pulse of the display industry, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 will come with a larger external display. The current Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 5G external display is a huge improvement over the original Galaxy Z Flip, but with its 1.9-inch size there is still a lot to be desired. Typically, these displays are used for the dissemination of basic information, such as notifications, time, or basic phone interactions such as answering phone calls.

Large display, battery and production volume

If Young’s sources are accurate, the Galaxy Z Flip 4 will come with a 2-inch external display least, although it may be large. Unfortunately, Young doesn’t go as far as to say specifically how big a performance it is. This can be a small or a big improvement, but usually something is better than nothing. There’s not much we know about the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 other than that it should come with a little big battery. Hopefully, Samsung keeps an external fingerprint reader for its Galaxy Z Flip 4.

With a slated release date sometime in Q3 2022, it’ll take us some time to see it in action. But if rumored production volumes are to be believed, you can bet that Samsung is gearing up for a grand launch of its next foldable smartphone.
