Redmi has announced that it will launch its Note 11 series in its home country of China on October 28th. The series will likely consist of Redmi Note 11. Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note 11 Pro +. Before launch, Redmi Note 11 Pro appeared on the benchmark listing website Geekbench.
The handset is listed on Geekbench with the model numbers 21091116C and 21091116UC and the code names “pissaro” and “pissarropro”. The former, as listed on Geekbench, has 8 GB of RAM and is powered by the MediaTek MT6877T SoC. This is the code name for the MediaTek Dimensity 920 chipset. The chipset has a clock rate of 2.5 GHz and is coupled with a Mali-G68 GPU.
In Geekbench’s single-core and multi-core tests, the model scored 3607 and 9255, respectively. While the other variant scored 740 and 2221 points in Geekbench benchmark tests.
Redmi Note 11 Pro features were also shared by Redmi General Manager Lu Weibing on the Chinese microblogging site Weibo. He wrote that the smartphone will be equipped with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. The handset comes with NFC support along with Bluetooth version 5.2 and WiFi 6.
On the price front, Redmi Note 11 is said to be priced at CNY 1,199 (around Rs 14,000) for the base model. While the Redmi Note 11 Pro can have a starting price of CNY 1,599 (around Rs 19,000).
Together with the Redmi Note 11 series, Xiaomi will also hit the market Redmi watch 2 at its event on October 28th. The smartwatch will have an AMOLED screen and possibly be priced at CNY 399 (around Rs 4,000).
