Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi launched its first 5G phone in India. The company has the Redmi Note 10T 5G Smartphone at the introductory price of Rs 13,999 for the base model. The handset comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 700 octa-core chipset and is equipped with an adaptive refresh rate display of 90 Hz.
Price and availability
Redmi Note 10T 5G will be available through Amazon along with the Mi.com, Mi Home and Mi Studio stores. It will go on sale on July 26th at 12 noon.
Xiaomi has not disclosed the actual price of the phone. Instead, it says the smartphone will be available at an introductory price of Rs 13,999 for the 6GB + 64GB variant and Rs 15,999 for the 6GB + 128GB model.
The company has also announced an additional discount of up to Rs.1,000 for HDFC bank card holders.
Redmi Note 10T 5G specs
The Redmi Note 10T 5G has a 6.5-inch dot display with an adaptive refresh rate of 90 Hz. The smartphone, as the company calls it, has an evol design and is available in four color variants – Metallic Blue, Mint Green, Chromium White and Graphite Black. It comes with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass on top.
It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 octa-core processor and is equipped with UFS 2.2 storage. The handset has a GameTurbo mode and comes with dual language support. It is supported by a 5,000 mAh battery. The device comes with a 22.5 W fast charger and supports 18 W fast charging.
The Redmi Note 10T 5G phone has a 48 MP primary camera, a 2 MP macro camera, and a 2 MP depth sensor. On the front it is equipped with an 8MP selfie camera. The handset is protected by P2i and therefore splash-proof.
