After a small startup based in San Francisco bought the rights to the ‘Palm’ name from TCL in 2017, the company brought its first smartphone called. on the market Palm phone in 2018.
Since then, the company has been largely silent and hasn’t announced a new product after missing a small upgrade on the same phone.
Now the company seems to be celebrating a comeback with a new product. The company teased a new product and its comeback on Twitter.
The tweet contains an image with a background image and text. The picture appears to be real wireless earbuds and the text says “We were busy”. In addition, it also confirms the October 26th announcement date for the true wireless earbuds.
The post doesn’t reveal much about the company’s upcoming TWS earbuds. However, the company says that they have “something special” and it has yet to realize that the “special” factor is the Palm earbuds.
We can speculate that the earbuds most likely have Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) as well as good battery life and a comfortable design that reflects the idea behind them Palm tree Phone designed to be the ultimate companion for users’ primary smartphone, the space conquered by smartwatches.
Another big concern for Palm’s TWS is that it will face stiff competition from already popular earbuds from brands like Samsung, Apple, Google, Sony, and a few others.
Another concern will be keeping the price right. There are several good options in almost every price range, but like Nothing did with its earliest TWS Ear (1) earbuds, Palm may need to get the pricing right too, in order for the product to stick in users’ minds, which time will tell.
