Oppo Watch 2 launch confirmed for July 27th in China

BBK’s own brand for consumer technology Oppo will bring a new smartwatch to the market – to be called – Oppo watch 2 – on July 27th in his native China.
The device will be the successor to the Oppo watch which was launched in India in July 2020 and in China in March 2020.
Oppo Watch 2: Expected Features and Specifications
An official listing on JD.com of the soon-to-be-launched device indicates that it will feature a rectangular dial like its predecessor. It will also house two buttons on the right.
In terms of equipment, it should offer e-SIM support and a heart rate monitor. The device is also equipped with a 50 sports mode and is waterproof as it is IPX5 certified.
Like its predecessor, the upcoming Oppo Watch will be launched on the market in several sizes. The variants are expected to be 42 mm and 46 mm in size.
Regardless, a report from ITHomes has shed some light on the likely specs of the Oppo Watch 2. According to the report, it’s powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 4100 SoC – making it one of the first smartwatches to run on Qualcomm’s latest wearable chipsets.
With this chipset Oppo should make use Apollo 4s chip that it developed together with Ambiq. The Apollo 4s is said to be an ultra-low-power SoC, likely for improved device battery life.
These chipsets are said to be coupled with 16 GB of internal memory.
