Apple is expected to be the next generation of iPhones sometime in September this year. While the launch date or anything about Apple’s iPhones has not been confirmed, rumor mills have routinely produced information. The latest rumor suggests an entirely new color option.
According to a Korean leaker quoting information from a China-based supplier, iPhone 13 could be available in the color option “Sunset Gold”. The leaker suggests that iPhone 13 Pro can be offered in four color options – black, silver, rose gold, and sunset gold.
The Sunset Gold color option has a “bronze gold” feel to it, while the rose gold looks “very pale” according to the leak.
The tipster has also suggested that the new color options are for the high-end models of the iPhone 13 Pro. Note that the iPhones naming scheme has not been confirmed and is an educated guess by most tipsters.
A previous leak had also suggested a bronze-like color option for the iPhone 13 Pro. It has also been suggested that the black color option, as opposed to the graphite color scheme in the existing Pro range of iPhones, has a matte finish.
As for the non-Pro iPhone 13 models, it’s likely that Apple could keep the colorful options it offers.
iPhone 13: What Else To Expect
So far, leaks and rumors have suggested the iPhone 13 might have a smaller notch and new display-related features. Bloombergs Mark Gurman shared some features that could be part of the iPhone 13.
Gurman said the only display feature that could catch on is always-on mode. The always-on mode display feature would allow iPhone users to access some information – time, weather, notifications – without actually waking the iPhone. The function was already part of the Apple watch for the past two years.
