iOS 14.7: iOS 14.7 is here: That’s why iPhone users should update

Apple has rolled out a new software update – iOS 14.7 – to the iPhone Users all over the world. While it may not be a “big” upgrade like iOS 14.5, it does bring some key features on board for iPhone users. Here are some of the key new features:
HomePod timer:
For those who own Apple’s HomePod, iOS 14.7 has an option to manage timers. This can be done in the Home app on the iPhone
MagSafe battery pack
Apple recently launched a new accessory for the iPhone 12 series called the MagSafe Battery Pack. If you want to buy the accessories, you need to update to iOS 14. The MagSafe battery can provide additional battery backup to the iPhone. It was introduced in India for 10,990 rupees.
Better podcast experience
At the beginning of the year, Apple revised the Podcasts app. The app has been redesigned with a new look and published subscriptions. With iOS 14.7, the Podcasts library in the app allows users to choose whether they want to see only the shows they are following or all of the shows.
Other issues fixed in iOS 14.7 include:

  • Fixed an issue that could cause Dolby Atmos and Apple Music lossless audio to stop unexpectedly.
  • The battery service message, which may have disappeared on some iPhone 11 models after restarting, will be restored.
  • A bug that caused braille displays to display invalid information when composing email messages has been fixed.
  • Fixed a bug that could cause the “Share Playlist” menu option in “Apple Music” to be lost.
