Honor 50 will be the first phone with Google Mobile Services

NEW DELHI: to honor is ready to launch its first smartphone with Google Mobile Services. In November last year, the Chinese smartphone maker Huawei announced that it had sold its Honor sub-brand to a consortium. The company made this decision after the US sanctions were imposed on Huawei. The sanctions prevented the smartphone manufacturer from using Google’s apps and services.
Now Honor is an independent company and is about to launch its new one Honor 50 Range of smartphones with Google apps and mobile services. The company announced on its official Twitter account that it will launch the Honor 50 smartphone in Europe on October 26th.

The company tweeted, “HONOR has succeeded in confirming its early-stage collaboration with a number of supplier partners. The # HONOR50 series will be equipped with Google Mobile Services, which will provide our customers with a richer application environment and an exceptional mobile experience.”
The company has also confirmed that the smartphone will have its own custom user interface – the Magic UI. The smartphone maker is also working to introduce new features into the user interface to improve the user experience.
Various online reports suggest that the company is expected to launch the Honor 50 and Honor 50 Pro + smartphones. The flagship model is said to have a 2K display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The smartphone is also said to be equipped with dual selfie cameras with 32 MP and 8 MP sensors.
A quad camera setup with 50 MP main sensor, 13 MP ultra wide-angle lens and 8 MP ToF sensor is to be installed on the back of the smartphone. On the other hand, the Honor 50 is said to be equipped with curved edges and a triple rear camera setup.
