Soon after Krafton officially launched Battlegrounds Mobile India On Android, the total number of players increased, which led to several bugs and issues. The most common mistake BGMI Players reported the server busy message in the past few days.
The message reads: “Server is busy, please try again later. Error code: restrictive area “. This error message prevents players from opening the game.
The error message first appeared when the game was in early access beta. For some reason, few players face these issues.
If you’re one of them and want to know why this is still happening to your game, we have three possible reasons for it.
Reason 1: Could be due to the sideloaded version of the game
Make sure to only download the game from the Google Play Store. Download through third party providers App Stores or APK and Obb files, the game may be throwing this error.
Fix: Uninstall the current version from your smartphone and reinstall the game from the Google Play Store.
Reason 2: using unsupported platforms
According to Krafton, the game is only available on the Android operating system. So if you use it through an emulator or any other device that is not supported, you may get the error message.
Fix: Switch back to a supported device
Reason 3: Trying to access BGMI from countries other than India
From day one, Krafton made it clear that BGMI is an India exclusive title and only players in India can access the game.
Fix: Well there is no solution to it unless you are planning to visit India
Reason 4: Internet connection problem
A bad internet connection can also lead to this error. If the internet connection speed is insufficient, it will not be possible to connect to the game’s server.
Fix: Switch to a better, faster internet connection
It is important to understand that these are just speculated reasons and possible fixes. Krafton has not officially said anything about this.
