Apple iPadOS 15.0.2 and watchOS 8.0.1 updates are now available on iPad and Apple watch.
These are incremental updates and mostly deal with bug fixes and issues with iPadOS 15 and watchOS 8 that were released last month.
Here is a full changelog of the updates for iPadOS 15.0.2 and watchOS 8.0.2.
Changes in iPadOS 15.0.2
Both iOS 15.0.2 and iPadOS 15.0.2 have seen largely similar changes. For example, the problem where photos saved in the library of messages were automatically deleted. The iPadOS 15.0.2 update addresses this issue and now photos saved from messages in the library can be deleted after removing the related thread or message.
The iPadOS 15.0.2 update also addresses the issue where iPadOS 15 users complained about AirTag not showing up in the My Search tab.
The next fix is for the 6th generation iPad mini which might fail to restore or update the device using Finder or iTunes. This problem was resolved in the latest iPadOS 15.0.2 update.
Changes in watchOS8.0.1 update
This is the first update Apple Watch receives after the release of watchOS 8. Like iOS and iPad OS updates, watchOS 8.0.1 is an incremental update and mainly focuses on fixing bugs and other user-reported issues.
